Welcome
Perhaps you have had the sense that something doesn't feel quite right inside, but are feeling hesitant to reach out. I am committed to providing a safe and caring environment. I see psychotherapy as an opportunity for you to get to know yourself more fully. People come to see me for concerns about their mood and frequent worrying, as well as relationship difficulties with loved ones. I see individuals from all walks of life and I specialize in working with people who are dealing with grief and other past hurts.
I specialize in Psychodynamic therapy, which focuses on deep listening, understanding conflicting feelings, and recognizing unhelpful patterns that we may not be aware of. My approach is thoughtful, warm, and curious. The type of help I provide focuses on resolving old habits and opening up new choices, with an emphasis on creating long-lasting change.
I can appreciate that it's hard for many people to ask for help. I believe psychotherapy can offer a quiet place, where you can explore the things you have always thought about, but have never had the opportunity to say them out loud. I invite you to contact me so that we can begin to think about and talk about the things that matter to you most.
